Sven B. Schreiber I found this interesting and diverting sampler accidentally while searching for more recordings by "Flotation Toy Warning". It's based on an unusual concept - celebrating the 26 Olympic sports of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London (by the way, 33 are planned for Tokyo 2020 by now). The musical tributes are as diverse as the respective artists. Besides "Flotation Toy Warning", the label "Where It's At Is Where You Are" (wiaiwya) presents us with legendary 90's bands like "Saint Etienne" and "White Town", plus many others I didn't know before. Especially singer-songwriter Simon Hughes aka "The Vatican Cellars" is a great dicovery to me. Favorite track: A Palpable Hit.
