The sixth release from the 2017 wiaiwya 7777777 singles club sees the return of DJ Downfall – John was the third act to release a record on wiaiwya (20 years ago) and his debut narrowly missed out on NME’s single of the week (to the Beta Band) – he went on to release 2 long players (the Curse and Bon Viveur), sign to XL subsidiary Rex, soundtrack late night Channel 4 TV shows, remix the likes of Kenickie, Christopher Just, the Pains Of Being Pure at Heart, the Pipettes and the Postal Service, drum for Marine Research, play bass and Guitar for Tender Trap and write the UK’s premier archery blog!

The name of this album perfectly encapsulates everything I love about Elizabeth's musical output from the Darlings to Allo Darlin' to these precious songs: an unyielding optimism that is never naive, and by being so, becomes wildly contagious. Some music tells you that "everything will be ok", but her music actually makes you believe it, even when the lyrics hint at doubt. Michael Feck
